The RZ Series CMO Stereo Microscopes are advanced, high-performance, modular, stereo microscopes specifically designed with today’s demanding microscopy applications in mind. Engineered around a common main objective and parallel optical paths, the RZ Series offers crisp, distortion-free, high-resolution images at magnifications ranging from 3.75x to 300x.

The RZ features a 10:1 zoom ratio with built-in variable dual-iris diaphragms and 12 positive click stops through the zoom range. Two perpendicular columns of eight zoom lenses in four groups move in smooth motion controlled by ergonomically sized and positioned zoom knobs. A magnification indicator is conveniently located on the zoom controls.
Exterior components are painted with special anti-static finish which is especially useful when working in sensitive environments. Two types of viewing heads are available.
Polarizing microscopes are extremely useful for specialized medical and industrial applications, such as identifying crystals or fibers suspended in liquid, identifying minerals in core samples and detecting defects in semiconductors or finding stress points in metal, glass and other materials. Meiji Techno offers the all new MX9000 series of polarizing microscopes.
The IM7000 Series Inverted Metallograph can be used for a wide range of metallurgical applications because it uses incident brightfield epi-illumination. Each model has 30mm FN22 eyepieces, integrated front camera port, all new and improved infinity corrected optics, full Koehler 30W halogen illumination and a mechanical stage with with drop down controls. A second camera port can be added with a trinocular head.

Evaluation of metallurgical specimens is fast and easy with Meiji Techno’s IM7000 Inverted Metallograph. The IM7000 delivers an excellent performance-to-cost ratio because it has the features and versatility that one would expect to find in more expensive instruments. The IM7000 has an integrated front mounted camera port with adapters available for 35mm, CCD, CMOS and other cameras.
VIEWING HEADS
The binocular model, the IM7100, incorporates the MA814 Siedentopf-type binocular head while the trinocular model, the IM7100 has the MA816/10 Siedentopf-type trinocular head. The MA816/10 uses an 80/20 beamsplitter that can be engaged for photomicroscopy. (100% to eyetubes or 80% to phototube and 20% to the eyetube.) Each microscope head has the eyetubes inclined at 30 degrees with the left eyetube having graduated diopter settings. The interpupillary distance on the viewing heads is adjustable between 53mm - 75mm. An optional ergonomic binocular head is also available.
EYEPIECES
10X Super Widefield High Eyepoint eyepieces are standard, and 15X and 20X eyepieces are also available as an option. A Super Widefield High Eyepoint 10X focusable eyepiece that accepts standard 25mm reticules is also available.

OBJECTIVE CHANGER
The smooth-operating, ball bearing, angle mounted quadruple nosepiece provides effortless objective changes.
OBJECTIVES
Meiji Techno offers their newly designed E.Planachromat Infinity Corrected objectives for brightfield observation modes. Infinity tube lens: F = 200mm.
STAGE
The standard fixed plain stage measures 180mm(x) by 245mm(y). The optional attachable mechanical stage measures 112mm(x) x 71mm(y). The mechanical stage features ergonomically positioned right-handed coaxial drop down controls.
ILLUMINATOR
A powerful Koehler method vertical illuminator with 6 volt 30 watt halogen bulb in an adjustable centering socket provides enhanced image quality of observations and adjustable brightness control.

Transmitted light (or biological) microscopes shine light up through slide-mounted, translucent specimens from below. When you want to see surface features or specimens that are not translucent (such as minerals, ceramics, needles, catheters, integrated circuits, etc.) at high magnifications, you’ll need an incident light (or metallurgical) compound microscope that shines light down through the objectives onto the surface of the specimen.
